It’s not uncommon for two javascript scripts to conflict. Have you ever loaded two plugins on your site, only to find that one stopped working? After banging your head against the wall, you start disabling all of your other plugins, trying desperately to find if one if them is causing a problem. The visual editor in Headway relies on javascript. As a result, there are plugins, scripts, etc that could cause an issue with the visual editor – that could mean unexpected behavior or even freezing/locking it entirely.
The Design Editor in Headway offers an option to add a bottom-border to the navigation area, but not a border around the entire navigation bar. Use this simple code snippet in your custom.css file or, better yet, the LiveCSS Editor, to add a simple border. I provide code for fluid and fixed header setups, and also briefly overview each part of the code snippet for CSS beginners.
